Pieces of Time is a minimalist wall clock made of ash wood. Inspired by the famous Italian marquetry of the Renaissance, 12 veneer strips are joined together in different grain directions, resulting in a natural, easy-to-read clock-face. Paradoxically the traditional decoration technique is used in the sense of "form follows function" by putting it into a practical context. "Pieces of Time" is available in six different colors.
